A proposito di un rilievo marmoreo del Museo Etrusco Guarnacci. Un contributo alla conoscenza di Volterra in età romana

This brief paper is about an important marble relief from a public but still unknown monument in Roman Volterra. In fact, the marble slab is a find of considerable importance but practically unpublished. The aim of these pages is to study its iconography depicting instrumenta sacra and to place it within the political and urban panorama of Volterra between the 1st and 2nd centuries AD.
